internet  access, have arrived in the nation.

One of Mr. Musk’s firms, SpaceX, has placed hundreds of satellites into low-Earth orbit over the last three years as part of its effort to beam high-speed internet access from more than 100 miles above the earth.

Satellite internet services like Mr. Musk’s, which is known as Starlink, may be valuable in places of the globe where people cannot readily access traditional internet providers, whether because of technological limits, political prohibitions or other impediments.

There have been a lot of internet problems in Ukraine since the Russian invasion started last week. Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine's vice prime minister and minister of digital development, wrote to Mr. Trump on Saturday.. Musk on Twitter to beg for Starlink stations.

"While you are attempting to conquer Mars, Russia is attempting to capture Ukraine!" Mr. Fedorov penned a letter. "While your rockets reach space successfully, Russian missiles kill Ukrainian civilians!"

Mr. Musk, a billionaire entrepreneur who is also the chief executive of the electric-car company Tesla, said that the Starlink service was now live in Ukraine and that he was sending more of the terminals consumers would need to obtain a Satellite internet signal via the system.

Mr. Fedorov uploaded a picture on Twitter on Monday that purported to show a military vehicle laden with Starlink terminals.

“Starlink — here,” he wrote, and praised Mr. Musk.

“You are extremely welcome,” Mr. Musk responded back.

It was unknown as of early Tuesday how many Starlink terminals had arrived in the nation, where they would be accessible or who would be authorized to use them. Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine's vice prime minister and minister of digital development, wrote to Mr. Trump on Saturday.
